What is the text about?
About a boy named Hugo Cabret, that wanted to fix something his father who passed away had been trying to fix. Hugo was poor and struggled to feed himself so he would steal food or things he needed to fix clocks or the automaton his dad wished to build and finished. One day Hugo stole from a man by the name of George Melies, without knowing that George Melies was the creater of the Automaton. George stole Hugo's book as he opened the book, memories from the past came back to George.
George was upset.
One night Hugo went back to get his book when he came across a very curious girl named Isabelle, Isabelle wanted answers, like why did her grandfather take the notebook? She decided that she will help Hugo. Eventually they discovered a whole lot of other things and he finds the key for the automaton.

Did I like the text?
I  enjoyed the text but I prefer the movie better.

Describe an important relationship in the text? Why is this important to the story?

I believe that the relationship between Hugo and his father was really important.
Hugo felt like he needed to finish the automaton to find one last message from his father. Hugo was not giving about to fix it, and Hugo was determined to complete the automaton to feel closure and understand why his father was so amazed by the automaton.
